Today was a shorter period because of STAR testing.
We discussed the types of measurements you will need to do at the park. Each student measured their pace and the height to their eyeball. We discussed how to measure the length or distance of an object by using your pace. We also made an astrolabe and learned how to use it to calculate the height of distant objects.
